A huge share of San Diego property sits on a slope, and hillside concrete work plays by different rules than a flat lot. Before we quote a hillside driveway, patio or foundation, here's what we're assessing.

Access & staging

Can trucks reach the pour? On tight hillside lots we plan for pump-truck access, material staging and where equipment can safely work. Owning our own Super 10 and compact equipment gives us options where a larger outfit might not be able to reach at all.

Retaining & grading

Slopes need to be held. Retaining walls, graded pads and stepped flatwork turn an unusable incline into a level, usable space. We handle the excavation and grading that shapes the site, then the concrete that finishes it.

Drainage

On a hillside, water always wins if you let it. We plan slope, swales and drainage so runoff moves away from structures and the new concrete — protecting both your investment and the ground it sits on.

Permits & engineering

Hillside and retaining work often involves grading permits and, for taller walls, engineering. We'll tell you straight what a project needs so there are no surprises, and coordinate the site work and concrete as one job on one schedule.
